Thoughtless Acts
Examples of ingenuous design choices
From ‘Thoughtless Acts’ by Jane Fulton Suri
Thoughtless Acts TM
are small intuitive behaviours revealing how everyone designs, and rearranges their environment to make it work better for them.
During my time at IDEO, I’ve spent some time with Jane Fulton Suri, discussing my observations of people’s behaviours during research projects. Learning from people on the field allowed us as a team to find insights in small behaviours during in-context interviews, and provided a tangible opportunity to tie a memorable human story to our project deliverables.
The following articles are a collection of ‘Thoughtless Acts’ I’ve encountered outside of projects, which helped me see the world with different eyes, and brought this inspiration back to projects.
